I have the honour to transmit for your in- -fomation the enclosed copy of a letter from His Majesty's Minister at Peking covering copy of an interesting despatch to His Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs on the subject of the outbreak of a revolution in Yunnan, together with copy of a letter I have addressed to Sir John Jordan on the subject of local aspects of the Anti-Monarchical movement. I also enclose copy of a telegram which has been sent to me by the Revolutionaries in Yunnan and which I have ignored.
